The scenic 2,735 acre lake with its 44 miles of forested shoreline provides many opportunities for outdoor recreation some of which include; wakeboarding, water skiing, wake surfing, tubing, kneeboarding, stand up paddle boards, and air chair.
There are five parks around the lake, two of which have overnight camping. There are also three boat ramps available and 130-acre wildlife and wetland area below Hills Creek Dam, which has open fields, small ponds, riverside habitat, beaver dams and food plots.
